Squaring your table saw blade -- 5 cut test for blade squareness

I just came across this simple, ingenious 5 cut test for squaring your blade on the table saw.  Awesome!

    Can I do this with a miter saw stand? I bought one few days back and currently can't afford a table saw. Please let me know your opinion.
